Yes folks, it’s time for another mass update, cause I’ve been too lazy/busy/tired to do it until now. Oh wait, I’m still all 3 of those things. Oh well.
Let’s see. Work is work. We have funding through next summer (not sure if I mentioned that) so that’s a Good Thing ™. Pressure has both been relaxed and increased at the same time, if that makes any sense. There is talk of transitioning me to technical lead for the project sometime early next year, which comes with a bottle (a very large one) of Hair-Be-Gray(tm). I’m not sure how much I want to take the position. It would help at work when it comes to performance reviews, but it would be even more work. The only good thing is that it would be happening near the end of development cycle, so I should know all I need to know by then to have a good product and take us to the end. I hope.
Been doing massive updates to the gallery. Mostly old vacation pics and pics that just never got onto the gallery – pics of Tildy (which if you look at iPhoto, you can tell exactly what month we had Noah – when all the pictures of the cat stopped 
), some LAN party pics, etc, etc. Check them out. Or don’t.
Between the neighborhood grounds folks doing round 1 of cleaning leaves in everyone’s front yards (go Landscaping Mexicans!) and some of my own raking this past weekend, the yard is mostly leave free. The back yard is another matter. This is better than last year when I believe I raked the Fall leaves in …um…. March. So, go me.
VT football has been good lately, just got UVA left next weekend. No conference championship this year. However, Maryland of all teams might make it. There’s something wrong with that. The Redskins … well…. at least Jason Campbell isn’t 4,348,542 year old “Statue of Liberty”-mobility man Mark Brunell. That may have been Gibbs’ last good decision before he leaves the head coaching job.
Noah is fully within his terrible 2s. I am happy to say though that signing to him does sometimes get through the tantrum. We’ll see how that goes. He did however get a Fisher Price Kids Digital Camera as an early Hannumas gift from Amy and Alan, and he absolutely loves it.
Speaking of Noah, he is heading down to Orlando with mommy, Jane, and Amy for Thanksgiving. I’ll fly down Wednesday for a fun filled time at Magic Kingdom, Sea World and Animal Kingdom. Noah will take pictures with his new camera I’m sure.
OK, time to go do a few more things then sleep. At least it isn’t like last night where at 1:30 I was WIDE awake. WTF is up with that? I mean, I slept till 11 AM that morning, but still
